A Unique Journey of Discovery

Alex will pick you up in the luxury coach and begin a short informative drive to Craighouse.  You will learn about the history of the Clan MacDonald while enjoying the wildlife and fantastic scenery. Next stop Craighouse, the largest settlement on Jura where you will hear how island life evolves and of the huge changes that have taken place over the last few decades.

Start your Jura Distillery tour. Learn about the history and production process, followed by a couple of free drams (chosen by your tour guide). See and taste for yourself what makes Jura Malt so unique.

Enjoy a fantastic 'Round The Bay' trip with Robert our local guide in his custom built 11m rib. You will see the Atlantic Seal colony up close and if you're lucky, you may even get a visit from the porpoises and dolphins that often come into the bay to feed and play. 

Time for a first class  lunch made with local produce (when available) with tea or coffee at the family run Jura Hotel.

Alex will then pick you up and share the rest of Jura with you including the Lussa Gin Distillery (when not distilling) and if we have time we’ll stop at Tea On The Beach for a light refreshment before heading back to the ferry for your return to Islay.   

Alex will return you to Feolin ferry for your journey back to Islay where we hope you can reflect back on a truly wonderful day!
